Mrs. Mumtaz Ben is the founder of MMBA Foundation (1991)[1], an Indian non-profit working on livelihood, women & children and education from Barmer.
MMBA Foundation
Mahila Mandal Barmer Agor began in 1991 as a small collective of women fighting for basic rights in a drought-hit village of the Thar Desert, and has grown into a women-led organisation working across Rajasthan. Its programmes span skill development and livelihood, women's empowerment, education, health, water and sanitation, disability, agriculture and dairy, and road safety, reaching women, youth, artisans and nomadic communities.
