Mrs. Kalawati Devi is the founder of Mahila Samagra Utthan Samiti Daltonganj (1997)[1], an Indian non-profit working on women & children and tribal welfare from Daltonganj.
Mahila Samagra Utthan Samiti Daltonganj
Grew out of a small sewing and cutting centre that founder Kalawati Devi ran for adolescent girls in Daltonganj before the organisation was formally registered. It now works across Palamu, Garhwa and Latehar — among Jharkhand's most deprived districts — creating livelihood opportunities for women, small farmers, tribal families and young people.
Mahila Samagra Utthan Samiti Daltonganj reports the following, on its own site:
