Mr. S. D. Pandian is the founder secretary of SEEDS (1995)[1], an Indian non-profit working on rural & agriculture, environment and livelihood from Aruppukkottai.
SEEDS
SEEDS promotes sustainable agriculture around Aruppukkottai in southern Tamil Nadu, from non-pesticide management and watershed work to seed and cotton production projects. It builds farmer institutions including farmer producer organisations and its own agro marts, alongside micro-finance linkages, eye camps, sanitation and child development programmes, with field operations extending into Kerala, Karnataka, Odisha and Pondicherry.
