Mr. Paras Soni is the founder (under his leadership) of Edufun Foundation Trust (2014)[1], an Indian non-profit working on education and women & children from Dhanera.

Edufun Foundation Trust

Edufun Foundation Trust is a voluntary organisation based in Dhanera, Gujarat, established on 24 April 2014 by a group of social workers and registered under the Societies Registration Act and the Bombay Public Trust Act. Its volunteers educate and mentor children from orphanages, slums and village community centres, and the trust has also run medical-awareness camps, women's-safety and vocational-training camps, hunger relief, natural-calamity response and animal rescue. It is registered under 12AA, 80G and FCRA.

Edufun Foundation Trust reports the following, on its own site:

  • Through its Akshayrath food-rescue project, Edufun Foundation Trust collected surplus food from 182 social events over 14 months and fed approximately 95,000 people in Dhanera taluka, Gujarat.
  • Edufun Foundation Trust's Khichdi Ghar low-cost meal project in Dhanera, Gujarat serves approximately 120 people every day, including beggars, monks, office workers, factory staff and hospital patients and their relatives.
