Meera Rathod is the founder / co-founder of Universe Simplified Foundation[1], an Indian non-profit working on education and environment from Mumbai.
Universe Simplified Foundation
Universe Simplified Foundation works to shape young minds with twenty-first century skills — critical thinking, creative thinking and collaboration — through inquiry-driven STEM education. Its head office is in Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai, with a field office at Vaholi village on the Kalyan–Murbad road in Thane district, and its programmes include school curriculum support, basic projects, environment and sustainability, earth and space, and a fellowship.
Universe Simplified Foundation reports the following, on its own site:
- In 2025-26 Universe Simplified Foundation worked with over 2,000 students across 19 Zilla Parishad and private-aided schools in the semi-rural villages of Goveli, Murbad and Mamnoli along the Kalyan-Murbad Road in Thane district, Maharashtra.
- Universe Simplified Foundation's Innovation Hub programme engaged 870 students regularly in 2025-26, of whom around 51% were girls and around 20% Adivasi.
- Universe Simplified Foundation's Technology Hub programme engaged 1,212 students regularly across six government-aided secondary schools in 28 batches, running 651 sessions in 2025-26.
