Medha Naruka is the co-founders of PURE India Trust (2013)[1], an Indian non-profit working on livelihood and education from New Delhi.
PURE India Trust
PURE India Trust (Pushp-Kiran Union for Real Enlightenment), founded in 2013 by Prashant Pal in Delhi, works on livelihoods, entrepreneurship and education for underserved communities. Its programmes provide skill training, micro-enterprise incubation and scholarships, with a focus on building women entrepreneurs in rural India.
PURE India Trust reports the following, on its own site:
- PURE India Trust has established 3600+ women-owned enterprises across 2,400+ villages, with entrepreneurship project locations in 16 states (Annual Report 2023-24).
- 35,000+ students have been mentored with career guidance, and Rs 1.8+ crore in scholarships has been provided to 600+ students (Annual Report 2023-24).
- In healthcare, PURE India Trust has benefited 50,000+ people through 600+ health camps organized (Annual Report 2023-24).
