Maya CARE Foundation is a Pune-based nonprofit founded in 2009 by Manjiri Gokhale Joshi and Abhay Joshi. It runs a model in which trained persons with disabilities are employed to provide free home-visit care services to elderly people, combining disability employment with elderly support in a single program. The organization says it runs this service across a large number of cities in India, with a smaller presence in the UK and Nepal.
