Shooting Stars Foundation is a Trust registered in Tamil Nadu in December 2020 to help students from low-income families pursue engineering, medicine and other STEM degrees they could otherwise not afford. Beyond tuition scholarships, it runs mentorship, English-communication and career-readiness training, and organises hackathons and hands-on STEM events for its scholars. The organisation also runs a linked STEM programme for students in the United States.
