Voluntary Health Services (VHS) is a non-profit multispecialty hospital in Adyar, Chennai, founded by Dr K. S. Sanjivi, a Padma Shri (1971) and Padma Bhushan (1976) awardee regarded as an architect of India's primary healthcare movement. Alongside tertiary hospital care it runs rural and urban community health programmes, including work on HIV/AIDS and vision impairment.
