Jason Moss is the co-founder of The Feline Foundation (2017)[1], an Indian non-profit working on animals from Mumbai.

The Feline Foundation

The Feline Foundation, based in Versova, Andheri West, describes itself as the first animal-welfare NGO in Mumbai dedicated specifically to stray cats. It conducts spay/neuter drives to control the stray cat population and provides medical treatment for injured and sick cats. It also runs a non-profit community veterinary clinic offering affordable healthcare to dogs and cats, and raises public awareness of stray cat welfare issues.

The Feline Foundation reports the following, on its own site:

  • 14,000 cats sterilised
  • 42,000+ dogs & cats treated in their clinic
  • 2,400+ cats rehabilitated
  • 500+ emergency surgeries
