Dr. Sunipa Sinha Roy is the founder of uttarayan of Uttarayan Wildlife[1], an Indian non-profit working on environment and animals from Hooghly.
Uttarayan Wildlife
A West Bengal organisation more than three decades old that restores fragmented ecosystems across South Bengal, drawing on its parent nursery network Pallisree. Current partnerships include growing elephant-fodder plantations with WWF West Bengal for northern elephant corridors and building a model village at Songaon in the Sundarbans, where restoration work employs over 1,500 local women.
