Dr. Priti Rao is the founder and chairperson of Aatmaja Foundation (2015)^[1], an Indian non-profit working on education and women & children from Pune.

Aatmaja Foundation

Aatmaja Foundation, a Pune trust registered in 2015, supports the education of girls from disadvantaged families in Maharashtra. What began with 20 students has grown to over 400 'Aatmajas' receiving scholarships alongside mentoring from a network of educators and professionals, with the aim of seeing each girl through to financial independence.

Founded in 2015 with just 20 girls, today the Foundation proudly supports over 500 girls.
Every year we add 30 to 50 deserving girls to this program.
