Founder of Swapnisthan Foundation

Dr. Prakash Chandra Dangi is the founder of Swapnisthan Foundation[1], an Indian non-profit working on education from Udaipur.

Swapnisthan Foundation

Swapnisthan, meaning 'place of dreams', is an alternative learning centre in Udaipur offering open, need-based education to children aged 5 to 16 from socially disadvantaged communities. Rather than following a fixed syllabus, it tailors its curriculum to each child's interests, strengths and weaknesses. The organisation aims to make quality education genuinely accessible to children who would otherwise be excluded from it.

Swapnisthan Foundation reports the following, on its own site:

  • Swapnisthan Foundation's 2025-2026 annual report records 50+ children engaged, 5 facilitators trained, 150+ learning sessions, 8 parent workshops, 6 community meetings, 8 exposure visits and 10+ volunteers at its learning centre in Kanpur village, Udaipur district, Rajasthan.
  • Swapnisthan Foundation completed a three-month pilot in May 2025 with 19 children from Adivasi and Dalit communities of Kanpur village, Udaipur, delivering 12 experiential sessions, 2 community interactions and 1 exposure visit.
