Family Service Centre
Family Service Centre, founded in Mumbai in 1955 by a group of philanthropic women, is one of the city's oldest family welfare agencies. A recognised Indian placement agency for adoption since 1972, it runs foster care, community development in the slums of Colaba and Sion-Koliwada, family counselling and educational sponsorships that keep vulnerable children in school and families intact.
Family Service Centre reports the following, on its own site:
