Dr. Dhir Jhingran is the founder and executive director of Language and Learning Foundation[1], an Indian non-profit working on education from New Delhi.

LLF works inside the government school system on foundational literacy and numeracy, training teachers, mentors and administrators and running district-level demonstration programmes. Since 2015 it has partnered with ten state governments, reaching over two crore children and more than eleven lakh teachers, with growing work on multilingual education and pre-primary classrooms.

  • LLF's Multilingual Education Programme was recognised for impacting 38,000+ students across 1,524 schools in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region.
  • LLF successfully designed and supported the implementation of India's first-ever Language Mapping survey in almost 30,000 schools with state government of Chhattisgarh (2022)
