Dr. Ashish is the started the ngo of MAHAN Trust (1997)[1], an Indian non-profit working on healthcare, tribal welfare, de-addiction and hunger from Amravati.
MAHAN Trust
MAHAN Trust has worked since 1997 in Melghat, a hilly forest region of the Satpuda ranges in Amravati district with among the country's highest rates of infant mortality and malnutrition. Run by Dr Ashish Satav and Dr Kavita Satav, it provides preventive and curative healthcare to tribal villages, along with child nutrition work including kitchen gardens and nutrition farms, de-addiction, free surgeries, community empowerment and published health research.
