Bharathidasan Subbaiah is the founder of Arulagam[1], an Indian non-profit working on animals, environment and tribal welfare from Coimbatore.

Arulagam

Established in 2002 in memory of environmentalist Arulmozhi, Arulagam is Tamil Nadu's leading vulture conservation organization. Founded by S. Bharathidasan, it campaigns against vulture-killing veterinary drugs like diclofenac and nimesulide, anchors Vulture Safe Zone work around the Moyar valley and Mudumalai, and pairs conservation with tribal rights advocacy and sustainable livelihoods for indigenous communities in the Nilgiris Biosphere.
