Aruna Mankekar Bhargava is the founders of I Create India (1999)^[1], an Indian non-profit working on livelihood and armed forces & veterans from Bengaluru.

I Create India

I Create India trains Indian Army veterans to become entrepreneurs, reasoning that soldiers who retire at 35 to 40 carry skills worth redeploying. Over 25 years it has refined a method of business-skills workshops, individual mentoring on business plans and continuing handholding, aiming for veteran-run enterprises that create jobs and revive local economies.
