Vinayak Hegana is the founder, president of Shivar Foundation (2014)[1], an Indian non-profit working on rural & agriculture and mental health from Osmanabad.

Shivar Foundation

Shivar Sansad began in 2014 as a youth movement led by Vinayak Hegana with a single aim: ending farmer suicides in Marathwada and Vidarbha. From its Farmer's Friend Centre at the Osmanabad collectorate it links farmers to government services, and after natural calamities its teams offer immediate counselling and aid to families in distress.
