Sobia Rafiq is the co-founder of Sensing Local [1], an Indian non-profit working on environment from Bengaluru.

Sensing Local

Sensing Local is a Bengaluru urban living lab that treats air pollution, waste and water stress as design problems to be solved with residents rather than for them. It advises government and private partners on spatial and participatory planning, trains citizens through its Citizen University, and runs neighbourhood projects such as walkability improvements in Malleswaram and zero-waste wards.
