Children's Movement for Civic Awareness

The Children's Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) is a Bengaluru-based organisation that runs citizenship and life-skills education programmes for children from grade 1 to university, through schools, colleges and rural panchayat libraries. Its programmes include Magic Box socio-emotional learning, Civic Clubs, Multigrade Clubs, My Library for a Better Me and children's village sabhas, run in partnership with state governments. CMCA publishes annual reports and FCRA returns on its website.

In 2023-24 CMCA reached over 1.5 lakh children and youth in over 2,000 schools, rural libraries and colleges across six states.
In 2023-24 CMCA's Children's Village Sabhas programme covered 262 sabhas and 950+ schools, reaching 45,000+ children.
CMCA's My Library for a Better Me programme ran in 85+ rural libraries reaching 9,500+ children in 2023-24.
