SIMCODESS, the Sirumalai Evergreen Multipurpose Community Development Society, has worked since 1990 with rural and tribal communities in the hills of Dindigul district. Its programmes promote organic farming and climate-resilient livelihoods, protect women and children, and restore fragile hill ecosystems through community-led action.
