Gayatri Buragohain is the founder of Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT)[1], an Indian non-profit working on women & children, education and human rights from New Delhi.
Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT)
Feminist Approach to Technology, known as FAT, works so that young women and girls from marginalised communities can claim technology, leadership and their rights. Based in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, it runs a Young Women's Leadership programme, a Girls in STEM programme and a collectivisation initiative across four Indian states, and produces films made by girls, radio shows and podcasts, and resources including a disability and sexuality toolkit.

- 45 young women joined the bridge course of FAT's Level 3 Collectivisation Initiative in 2021-22, with 38 progressing to the L3 programme
